Opossum / Possum Control
Like raccoons, opossums can enter attics and crawlspaces and contaminate those areas with their feces and urine, but in general, they tend not to cause the physical damage raccoons do. Opossums can carry diseases such as Leptospirosis, tuberculosis, relapsing fever, tularemia, spotted fever, toxoplasmosis, coccidiosis, trichomoniasis, and Chagas disease. They may also be infested with ectoparasites like fleas, ticks, mites, and/or lice. Cleanup and sanitization as well as treating with an insecticide should be part of the removal process and exclusion process.
